Air & Gas Sensors

The AZ-GDT Series of gas monitoring sensors monitor levels of carbon monoxide (CO) and/or nitrogen dioxide(NO2) to provide an early warning of elevated concentrations. The AZ-GDT is available as a standalone CO or NO2, as well as a CO/NO2 dual sensor device. The dual sensor device is available in 2 configurations: CO/NO2 housed one enclosure or as CO with remote NO2 sensor for mounting at a higher location. The AZ-GDT gas sensors are encapsulated in field replaceable sensors pods that are located on the bottom of the enclosure. The pod design provides a greater area of gas sampling then that of devices that utilize a single vent hole. Replacement pods come pre-calibrated and ready for installation. The GDT is available with either Analog, BACnet or Modbus outputs for communication with a building automation system.

The AZ-CD2RMC Series (wall mount) uses a highly accurate and reliable Dual wavelength, non-dispersive Infrared (NDIR) sensor in an attractive, low profile enclosure for room applications to monitor CO2, levels. A linear analog signal output of 4-20 mA, 0-5 or 0-10 Vdc is provided for connection to a building automation system. Optional features such as temperature sensor, setpoint adjustment, manual override and adjustable relay output are available. The AZ-CD2DT Series (duct mount) uses a highly accurate and reliable non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor in an attractive enclosure with a gasketed, hinged cover for duct applications to monitor CO2 levels. The sensor uses dual wavelength optics and LTA (long term adjustment) signal processing technology to deliver industry leading long term accuracy and reliability. These features ensure optimum measurement stability for continual monitoring of either supply or return air measuring. Optional features include a resistive temperature

Temperature & Humidity Sensors - The single point duct/immersion high (TH Series)or low (TL Series) limit thermostat incorporate a precision thermistor sensor and provides a Form C relay output (NO/NC) with an adjustable setpoint. The sensor is encapsulated in a 6mm (0.236”) OD, 304 stainless steel probe and is available in various lengths (see ordering chart). All probes provide excellent heat transfer fast response and resist moisture penetration. A weatherproof, polycarbonate enclosure is provided for ease of installation. The AZ-NTRC Series Network Temperature Sensor features embedded BACnet and ModBus communication and is available in several configurations for the most efficient monitoring and control solution. The basic unit accurately measures room temperature. Optional features include RH measurement, up/down setpoint control, a local override function, a control relay output and a fan speed switch. The device connects to an RS-485 MS/TP network.

AZ-GFS Air Pressure Differential Switch

  •  The differential pressure switch housing unit contains a diaphragm, a snap-acting SPDT switch, and a range adjustment knob with increments. The sample connections located on the side accept 6.35mm (0.25”) OD tubing. There are various optional pressure ranges, and 2 pickup tubes and 2 m (6.56’) of PVC tubing available. The enclosure cover guards against accidental contact with the live switch terminal screws and the setpoint adjustment knob with indication.

Air Flow & Velocity Sensors

The Air Flow and Velocity Transmitter series is intended for use in commercial environments. It is designed with a duct mount probe and adjustable collar suitable for round or rectangular ducts. The transmitter provides separate readings for air velocity and temperature. It comes with three measurement ranges in a single device (0–2 m/s, 0–10 m/s, 0–20 m/s) and is available with optional display and relay.

Air Quality Sensors - The AZ-AIR41, Air Quality Sensor uses an advanced MEMS metal oxide semiconductor sensor to detect poor air quality. The sensor reacts quickly to detect a broad range of VOCs such as smoke, cooking odors, bio-effluence, outdoor pollutants and from human activities. The sensor captures all VOC emissions that are completely invisible to CO2 sensors. Extensive studies and research have shown that there is direct correlation between CO2 levels and VOC levels and the Air Quality Sensor has been calibrated to provide a “CO2-equivalent” ppm measurement value, thereby achieving full compatibility to existing HVAC CO2 ventilation standards. The CO2-equivalent sensor output value was developed over a period of several years to allow the IAQ sensor to be optimized for Demand Controlled Ventilation applications.

The AZC-MLP2 Series Low Differential Pressure transmitters are designed for use in OEM or high density panel mounting applications. Key installation features include an integral 35 mm DIN rail mounting foot, vertically orientated wiring and pressure connections, and a pushbutton zero function conveniently located on the front cover. The AZC-MLP2 offers two options for DIN Rail mounting; rear and side mount. The rear DIN rail mount is integrated into the enclosure. The side mount adapter is included with the package, and can easily be attached. The side mount offers a much thinner profile for higher density panels. The AZC-MLP2 incorporates a high accuracy, piezoresistive, silicon sensing element which senses differential pressure and provides a linear 4 to 20 mA or DC voltage output equal to the specified pressure range. This technology reduces warmup shift while also reducing the effect of package stress for increased long term stability. In addition, the unit contains a de-pluggable
